Job Type : Remote, however will require you to come onsite based on department needs.

Summary :

Reporting to the Vice President, Employee Relations, DEI, and HR Compliance, the Director, Employee Relations and HR Compliance, provides leadership and direction to employee relations staff to successfully resolve routine to complex people issues to mitigate organizational risk.

Provides direction to all HR regulatory readiness / survey and compliance activities. Collaborates with accreditation staff and leadership to establish priorities for regulatory activities and develops / implements systems and processes that will ensure continuous regulatory readiness.

This role participates in the development and execution of human resources and business strategies to support CHST's short- and long-term objectives and works cross-functionally to create policies, procedures, and practices that ensure compliance, consistency, enhance engagement, and align with a best place to work culture.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive the consistent delivery of employee relations programs, policies, and practices across Children's Health to promote fairness and employee experiences consistent with the CHST brand.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop employee relations team to build best in class performance and services that delivers excellence in investigations, documentation, tools, and resources;

provides ongoing development coaching to expand competencies and performance capabilities.

Reimagine possibilities within employee relations function to transform traditional practices into forward-thinking and innovative solutions;

work collaboratively with COEs and leaders to identify root causes and potential solutions for common behavior and performance issues.

Establishes a standard practice for investigations and ensure that all team members consistently follow; provide oversight to investigations of harassment, retaliation, discrimination and other high-risk claims ensuring standard practices are followed and key stakeholders are involved (i.

e., legal, compliance, privacy, security) as needed.

Act as an SME in employee relations and advisor to broad HR team members to inform design and development of various talent management programs;

stays abreast of legislative changes that impact policies and practices.

Promote a team culture of continuous improvement through periodic review of tools, resources, policies, procedures, and practices to ensure continued relevance and alignment with broader HR direction and strategy;

Measure team performance by conducting after-action reviews and soliciting feedback from customers and key stakeholders.

  • Establishes and manages a process to collect and report employee relations activity for the purpose of reporting trends and common issues to inform targeted intervention strategies.
  • Partner with the Leadership & Learning Institute and the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to create or enhance learning opportunities to supplement existing development programs.
  • Leads workforce realignment activities including the managing the relationship and performance of outplacement vendor and external partner for the Transition Support Program.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

How You'll Be Successful :

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 10 years Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible Human Resources professional-level experience is required. Required.
  • At least 5 years Minimum 5 years of HR Leadership experience is required. Required.
  • HR experience coordination routine to complex people processes. Required.

EDUCATION

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required.
  • Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

HR general or specialized certification through a recognized organization (SHRM, WorldAtWork, HRCI) Upon Hire Preferred.
