Heavy Haul Business Development Executive
The Heavy Haul Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth within the flatbed and specialized transportation sectors.
This role requires a proactive, results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of 3PL operations and the unique challenges and opportunities within the flatbed and specialized transportation markets.
The ideal candidate will focus on generating new business, expanding existing accounts, and collaborating closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities :
Generating New Business : Identify and target potential clients in need of flatbed and specialized transportation services.
Develop and execute strategies to secure new business opportunities, with a focus on expanding the company’s footprint in the 3PL market.
Utilize industry knowledge and market insights to approach prospects and close deals effectively.
Collaboration with Operations Teams : Work closely with operations teams to ensure that all client requirements are metwith precision and efficiency.
Communicate client expectations clearly and collaborate on the planning and execution of specialized transportation services.
Lead efforts to address any operational challenges and continuously improve service quality.
Market Research & Strategic Planning : Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth in the flatbed and specialized transportation sectors.
Develop strategic plans to position our client as a leader in the 3PL industry, particularly in flatbed and specialized transportation.
Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate favorable contracts, and close deals that drive business growth.
Utilize problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to overcome obstacles in the sales process.
Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the 3PL, logistics, or transportation industry, with a focus on flatbed and specialized services.
- Proven track record of generating new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Strong understanding of 3PL operations, flatbed, and specialized transportation services.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset, with the ability to think creatively to meet client needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
