Qualifications :
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current valid license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Ohio or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- IEP experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals, needs, and abilities
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' independence in activities of daily living, mobility, and fine motor skills
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
