El restaurante popular Emmett's on Grove está buscando contratar un cocinero de linea con liderazgo para apoyar al Chef a liderar el equipo.
Emmett's on Grove es un restaurante inspirado en el Medio Oeste que se especializa en pizza estilo taberna tras el éxito de su institución original en el Soho, Emmett's.
Inspirándose en el sur de Francia hasta los bosques del norte de Wisconsin, Emmett's on Grove celebra el espíritu de una clásica taberna estadounidense con influencias europeas.
Emmett's on Grove, que sirve los favoritos de los italoamericanos junto con una extensa carta de vinos con los mejores productores y dominios de todo el mundo, ofrece toda la diversión que desearía de un restaurante de vecindario con una experiencia elevada que se esperaría de un destino gastronómico superior de Nueva York.
Competencias y Calificaciones :
- Más de 2 años de experiencia de servicio en un entorno de gran volumen o de alta cocina
- Voluntad de aprender lo que no sabe y agilidad para apoyar y entrenar a los colegas
- Actitud tranquila y positiva y compostura profesional.
- Interés demostrado en la industria culinaria
- Habilidad para involucrar a los compañeros de trabajo con éxito, construir una relación y crear un ambiente cálido y acogedor
- Cuidarse qua la comida esta ejecutado con alta calidad
- Cuidarse qua la cocina y otras areas de BOH se mantienen limpios y organizados
- Experiencia con el desayuno, pastas, sartenes y la parilla (temperaturas) es genial
Compensación :
- $23 por hora de comienzo
- Vacaciones pagados después de 6 meses de empleo

Taking inspiration from the South of France to the North woods of Wisconsin - Emmett’s on Grove celebrates the spirit of a classic American Tavern with European influences.
Serving Italian American favorites alongside an extensive wine list featuring top producers and domaines from around the world, Emmett’s on Grove offers all the fun you would want from a neighborhood restaurant with an elevated experience you would hope for from a top New York dining destination.
Competencies & Qualifications :
- 2+ years of kitchen experience in a high-volume or fine dining environment
- Willingness to learn what you don’t know and agility to support colleagues
- Cool, positive demeanor and professional composure
- Demonstrated interest in the culinary industry
- Ability to engage fellow staff successfully, build a relationship, and create a warm and welcoming environment
- Care for properly executed service and food with high quality
- Care for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and BOH space
- Experience with brunch, pastas, sautee, grill (temps) is a plus
Compensation :
- $23 / hr starting wage
- PTO after 6 months of employment
