BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Software Procurement Manager , you'll manage various software agreements, maintenance, and related services enterprise-wide.

You'll lead cross-functional teams to strategically select products and suppliers, ensure optimal pricing, quality, service, and terms, reduce costs, and minimize risk.

You'll partner with internal stakeholders, draft and negotiate complex contracts, and provide ongoing supplier relationship management.

  • Actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Analyzing various software cost models / options and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Leading the negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase software agreements under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Proactively strategizing with business and technical owners to understand the needs of the organization.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to develop meaningful requirements to ensure quality responses from suppliers.
  • Researching and developing adequate sources of supply.
  • Utilizing supply market knowledge to leverage the best strategy for Charter and leading cross-functional supplier selection activities through management of formal RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes.
  • Evaluating the financial stability of potential suppliers.
  • Performing required business analysis with a strategic focus on total cost of ownership.
  • Continuously seeking out cost savings opportunities and leading efforts to realize those savings.
  • Managing overall supplier performance, including acting as an escalation point in the event of non-performance.
  • Developing a strategic category plan based on an understanding of business goals and objectives, the supply market, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Managing and influencing all phases of change management.
  • Managing stakeholder groups through technology adoption.

As part of the Procurement Department, you will be a driving force behind the strategic sourcing and purchasing of goods and services that power Spectrum.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of various types of Software and related services including perpetual, term and subscription agreements, maintenance and support, and other IT products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information technology and software terminology
  • Software Procurement contract negotiation and contract management experience - 5+ years
  • Electronic procurement and / or contract solutions experience - 1-3 years

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred

The base pay for this position generally is between $98,900.00 to $175,300.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

We comply with local wage minimums and certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
