Kelly Professional and Industrial is seeking reliable Field Technicians to join the Supervisor of Elections team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues, providing assistance, and maintaining equipment.
This is a full-time, temporary position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the electoral process in our community.
Location : Orlando, FL
Pay Rate : $14 / hr. + Mileage
Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (must be available for overtime)

- Group 2 : 08 / 05 / 2024 08 / 23 / 2024 Roles and Responsibilities :
- Obtain training in ballot handling, DS200 Tabulator ballot processing, Express Vote, and HP Tablet functionality.
- Maintain a route of multiple polling place locations on Election Day to resolve issues.
- Identify and fix certain technical problems in the field.
- Verify the loading and unloading of equipment on the assigned truck route.
- Perform tests on the DS200 once the equipment is delivered at each precinct location.
- Conduct checks of all equipment and devices at each assigned polling place on Election Day to ensure proper functionality.
- Assist with closing procedures on Election Day, including emptying emergency ballot boxes and collecting modem results.
- Provide technical support during poll worker classes.
- Assist in all aspects of preparing for an election.
- Return equipment back from the field.
- Display professionalism and act in the best interests of the Supervisor of Elections office when interacting with the public.
- Carry out any assigned tasks from the Technical Services Manager. Qualifications & Skills :
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to stand for long periods and work in a warehouse.
- Competent with software, including Windows Operating System, word processing, and Excel.
- Experience in computer hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience in network troubleshooting.
- Availability to work extended days and weekends with little or no advance notice . Opportunities :
