We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Direct Hire IT team. This is a full desk role and in this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from acquiring clients and understanding their needs to sourcing, screening, and placing top talent.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of the recruitment life cycle, and the ability to build and maintain client and candidate relationships.

We provide the many tools and technologies required to allow aggressive and motivated recruiters to capitalize on the many opportunities that exist in our market.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Full desk business development and recruitment and across a nationwide market.
  • Supporting current client relationships for incoming business as well as identifying and establishing relationships with new clients.
  • Understand client hiring needs and develop customized recruitment strategies.
  • Receive and manage job orders from clients.
  • Create and update job descriptions based on client requirements.
  • Present candidates to hiring managers / clients, coordinate interviews, negotiate salaries and extend employment offers.
  • Manage and oversee relationships with candidates / clients to build professional contacts / networks and achieve a proactive approach to recruiting and candidate acquisition.
  • Proactively develop network of business and candidate contacts.
  • Manage the candidate life cycle through consistent communication and relationship management. Act as trusted advisor through entire process;

resume adjusting, interview prep, negotiations, resignation, on-boarding, and periodic follow up.

  • Source a pipeline of candidates by utilizing internal database, job boards, networking, referrals, and other creative means of locating qualified candidates.
  • Conduct full cycle recruiting including marketing, sourcing, screening, interviewing and reference checks.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management
  • Proven experience as a full desk recruiter or similar role
  • Technical acumen to communicate effectively within the IT domain and can be seen as a trusted advisor
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Client-focused with a commitment to building long-term relationships
  • Incentive driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or GED

DESIRED SKILLS :

  • Prior IT knowledge / education or background
  • Prior staffing recruitment or sales experience
  • Marketing experience with lead generation activities
  • Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills
