HERS Advisors has partnered with a growing full-service law firm in Bethesda, MD (hybrid) who has a need for a Trusts & Estates Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for scheduling client meetings, managing calendars for important dates, court notices, and deadlines, opening new client files, drafting correspondence, regular client and court telephone and email communication, credit card coding, mail scanning, preparing mailings for various delivery services, and other internal processes.
Responsibilities for Trusts & Estates Administrative Assistant :
- Editing estate planning documents
- Coordinating executed estate planning documents to be sent to clients
- Witnessing and notarizing estate planning documents
- Organizing and safely-handling client personal documents, financial asset information, and original documents
- Directly meeting and communicating with clients
- Heavy calendar management
- Scanning, copying, and filing legal documents
- Preparing mailings, including USPS, Federal Express, and courier
Requirements for Trusts & Estates Administrative Assistant :
- 10+ years experience as a legal assistant is mandatory
- Trusts & Estates experience is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
