Network Administrator
Network Administrator (NA)This is a Key Person position at Fort Lee, VA and Fort Hood, TX in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.
Stillwater is seeking best qualified individuals for its upcoming bid in support of this task order. Expected award and start word date is March-April 2024.
Essential Functions : Administering the operating of LAN / WAN related network services according to Government policies and proceduresCoordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgradesTroubleshooting and resolving LAN / WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problemsAdministering LAN / WAN security and firewall managementNetwork systems configuration of Layer 1 and Layer 2 switches, and routers and WAN technologiesFirewall install, configuration, management and securityLAN / WAN monitoring and tuning tools and processes to include but not limited to SolarWinds and SplunkCollaborates in the planning and implementation network security, including setting up firewalls, host security, network access controls, maintaining network access control lists and applying government security lockdowns as directed from the GovernmentSupports Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIPs) telephony including monitoring network data links, taking suitable actions to mediate any loss to voice servicesInstalling and configuring DoD encryption devicesAvailability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptlyRequirements : Technical skills and experience with a variety of network protocols, software, and hardware involved in LAND and WAN operationsStrong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skillsStrong communication abilitiesDoDD 8570.
