Job Description :
Under the direct supervision of an RN, the Medication Aide performs medication administration and prescriber-ordered treatments.
Required Qualifications :
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Upon hire : Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License
- Within 30 days of hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire : Medication Assistant Certification Endorsement
- Upon hire : Successfully pass NCSBN Medication Assistant Certification exam
- 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Preferred Qualifications :
1 year experience as a MAC in a health care setting
