Naval IT Project Manager, Mid

The Opportunity :

Do you embrace a dynamic work environment and want to work where Information Te chn ology ( IT ) underpins the mission? We are looking for a Project Manager who can leverage their expertise in IT to manage and oversee vendor performance.

Develop, monitor, and analyze trends to support the delivery of highly technical program goals for Enterprise IT. As the resident expert, you will create well-designed project plans to assist the client in developing innovative solutions to complex problems.

You know that project managers touch every part of an organization and wear multiple hats, from caring for the client and their meaningful project goals to participating in organizational development and being a key contributor to team success.

On our team you'll work directly with clients and external stakeholders, ensuring cross-functional team support, coordination, planning, collaboration, and execution tasks are aligned with program and project goals.

You'll empower our clients through effective communication, ensuring the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards.

You'll e nga ge with clients to collect, understand, and define their IT requirements, analyze and translate those requirements into project plans and milestones, and create realistic schedules to manage and report progress.

You'll leverage Agile methodologies to lead client engagement sessions in support of development planning and execution.

You'll write and deliver executive leadership-level communications and briefings

You Have :

3+ years of experience in DoD engineering and science management, operations research analysis or financial and cost analysis

Experience with project management, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering medium to large-scale DoD IT projects or programs

Experience with vendor management and oversight, including assessing cost, schedule, and performance

Experience developing and monitoring metrics and conducting trend analysis

Knowledge of IT te chn ical concepts, best practices, and developing client solutions

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have :

Experience with supporting Navy IT programs or operations

Experience with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service lifecycle or IT Service Management (ITSM)

Project Management Professional ( PMP ) Certification

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
