Responsibilities

  • Manage and QA / QC a range of topics, including :
  • Multimodal traffic operations and microsimulation
  • Project infrastructure capacity analysis
  • Freeway and managed lanes operations
  • Arterial and transit operations
  • Pedestrian simulations
  • Roundabout operations
  • Traffic calming operations
  • Traffic signal timing
  • Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), including field devices and communications systems
  • Determining intersection and lane configurations
  • Prepare and review traffic and project reports
  • Use software such as Synchro / SimTraffic, Sidra, HCS, Vistro, Vissim, Visum, TransModeler and others effectively to make quick and accurate computations
  • Depending on experience, manage projects, delegate and supervise work, develop strong client relationships, and contribute to marketing and winning new projects

Qualifications

  • 4 to 8 years of related work experience in transportation planning and / or engineering
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in transportation, civil engineering, data science, electrical engineering, urban planning, or a related field
  • Excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with a strong ability to collaborate with clients
  • Strong task and project management skills
  • Aptitude for business development
  • PE, PTOE, and / or TE certification is a plus

$90,000 - $130,000 a yearPlacement within the stated pay range will be determined based upon education, experience, and qualifications.
