Summary :
The Customer Service Supervisor manages the daily operations of the customer service team
developing, implementing, and maintaining processes, procedures and programs to improve customer
service.
What you’ll do :
- Provides day to day supervision and assistance to customer service team;
- Ensures adequate phone coverage and monitors calls;
- Establishes schedules and maintains work standards to ensure quality and timeliness;
- Answers incoming calls and processes orders per customer item specifications;
- Develops and recommends improvements to work flow, internal procedures, or forms design and
- usage;
- Interviews and hires new staff, prioritizes, assigns, and reviews work;
- Provides and coordinates staff training and the use of new procedures;
- Coaches employees to correct deficiencies and implements discipline procedures;
- Investigates and researches escalated customer service inquiries;
- Responsible for adhering to food security, food safety regulations and policies (SQF, HACCP,
CGMPs))
Observes and evaluates employee performance annually
About you :
- Associates degree and / or two to four years related experience;
- Leads by example;
- Must have good communication skills, both oral and written;
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions while maintaining close attention to detail;
- Good organizational skills, analytical, and problem solving skills;
- Maintains good working relationships throughout all departments;
- Proficient in ten key, Goggle / Microsoft and web based applications
Preferred
- Bilingual
- Produce / perishable knowledge
