Summary :

The Customer Service Supervisor manages the daily operations of the customer service team

developing, implementing, and maintaining processes, procedures and programs to improve customer

service.

What you’ll do :

  • Provides day to day supervision and assistance to customer service team;
  • Ensures adequate phone coverage and monitors calls;
  • Establishes schedules and maintains work standards to ensure quality and timeliness;
  • Answers incoming calls and processes orders per customer item specifications;
  • Develops and recommends improvements to work flow, internal procedures, or forms design and
  • usage;
  • Interviews and hires new staff, prioritizes, assigns, and reviews work;
  • Provides and coordinates staff training and the use of new procedures;
  • Coaches employees to correct deficiencies and implements discipline procedures;
  • Investigates and researches escalated customer service inquiries;
  • Responsible for adhering to food security, food safety regulations and policies (SQF, HACCP,

CGMPs))

Observes and evaluates employee performance annually

About you :

  • Associates degree and / or two to four years related experience;
  • Leads by example;
  • Must have good communication skills, both oral and written;
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions while maintaining close attention to detail;
  • Good organizational skills, analytical, and problem solving skills;
  • Maintains good working relationships throughout all departments;
  • Proficient in ten key, Goggle / Microsoft and web based applications
