Overview :
The Network Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and secure communication.
They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the network, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to optimize network performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement network solutions
- Configure and maintain routers and switches
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
- Install and support network hardware and software
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel
- Create and maintain network documentation
- Ensure network security and compliance
- Implement disaster recovery procedures
- Evaluate and recommend network technologies
- Provide technical support to end users

- Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities
- Conduct regular network assessments

Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
- Proven experience in network administration and support
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies
- Hands-on experience with firewall and VPN technologies
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Solid understanding of network security principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud networking
- Familiarity with network automation and scripting languages
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
