Job purpose
To ensure that all C-store exterior areas including store entrances, gas pump areas, store lots, and car wash bays are clean and well maintained for all Holiday Oil guests.
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensures that exterior areas of convenience store walkways, parking areas and general lots are pressure-washed thoroughly to provide a clean, well-maintained appearance.
- Pressure washes and inspects mechanical workings of carwash, air, and vacuum stations. Makes repairs as needed.
- Ensures that concrete areas surrounding gas pumps are pressure washed to be clean and well maintained in appearance and function.
- Addresses minor mechanical and maintenance issues when identified and / or assigned.
- Reports maintenance issues and needs that are identified during normal duties that require advanced attention.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions including heat in summer and cold temperatures in the winter.
- Must be able to follow all preferred work methods and safety guidelines including proper use of PPE.
- Performs other related duties as necessary.
Skills and Education Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Additional mechanical training a plus.
- Demonstrates mechanical proficiency including ability to identify and perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Current, valid Utah Driver License.
- MVR with excellent driving record.
- Ability to work graveyard schedule (9pm to 6am)
- Functional in English, both written and spoken word preferred.
