Stephens College invites applications for part-time (adjunct) instructors for Fall, 2024 and / or Spring, 2025 for the following courses or topics.

Stephens College is transitioning to a block system in Fall, 2024. Most courses will be offered over a 3.5 week period (18 course days).

Most lecture sessions for on-campus courses will be scheduled for 3 hours each day to be completed prior to noon, with lab courses also meeting in the afternoon.

Online courses (see below) can be scheduled for 8 or 16 week sessions.

• Introductory mathematics (college algebra, calculus) and statistics courses (in-person or online).
• Introductory computer information systems courses (in person).
• Introductory courses serving majors and nonmajors in general biology, environmental science, physical science, and health science (in person or online).

The successful candidate will :

Teach one or more courses in person or online using existing course materials and LMS, including lab sections where appropriate.

Requirements :

1. Earned M.S. relevant field of assigned course.

2. Desire to teach at collegiate or university level and excellent communication skills.

Highly Desired :

1. Ph.D. in relevant field of assigned course.

2. Experience teaching at the collegiate or university level.
