Vessco Holdings (VH) is a rapidly growing family of companies providing total equipment and service solutions to the municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment industry.
As VH expands nationally, we are increasing our Group Accounting team located in Chanhassen, MN. The Group Assistant Controller position will support specific companies while also contributing to the overall group initiatives.

Responsibilities :
- Perform month end duties and reconciliations for multiple group companies.
- Partner with the Presidents and Local / Regional Controllers to better understand their companies and accounting practices.
- Provide support to group companies in interpreting and applying accounting regulations.
- Assist with Accounting and Treasury integration of multiple M&A transactions annually.
- Develop and implement key controls and policies in a fast-growing company.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and reports.
- Assist with year-end company and 401(k) audits.
- Assist with year-end and quarterly tax preparations.
- Assist with centralization of certain functions, including treasury, cash disbursement, cash receipts and payroll.
- Standardize monthly and quarterly group reporting.
- Assist in developing and automating financial and operational reports.
- Contribute positively to group culture and employee / customer relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 3-7 years of related Accounting experience.
- Ability to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent and entrepreneurial with the ability to work with minimal direction.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Some travel may be necessary.
- CPA a plus.
