Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Needs to be able to do grade work and utility work.
- Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations, and procedures as set forth by company policies and
- OSHA
- Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficiently
- Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and / or clean equipment as needed
- Communicate with the management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Occupational Safety Hazards and appropriate safety precautions and procedures.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and / or with your crew to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Can stand, sit, walk, reach, balance, stoop, and kneel for long periods of time
- Ability to lift tools and equipment of 75lbs or greater
- Can see up close, distances, and colors and has use of peripheral vision and depth perception
- Must be able to perform physically strenuous work outdoors in all types of weather
