GARAGE PARTS PERSON - YOSEMITE

Job Description

The Parts Person is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s).

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

COMPENSATION : The hourly rate of pay for this position is $24.52 - $24.52. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers in diagnosing automobile problems
• Retrieves parts from inventory and delivers to mechanics
• Orders and coordinates delivery of new inventory
• Responsible for inventory control
• Operates cash drawer
• Dispatches tow trucks
• Moves vehicles to and from services areas
• Writes work orders for guest vehicle repairs
• Orders and receive parts for repaired to both guest and Aramark vehicles
• Maintains accurate records of parts ordered and their cost
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Experience in garage work and / or background in vehicle parts preferred
• Knowledge of and experience with shipping, receiving and inventory procedures
• Experience with computers, parts order systems and Microsoft software preferred
• Guest service attitude and willingness to assist all guest internal and external

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and / or extended walking and standing.

This role may also require uniforms and / or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
