Responsible for overall project quality and reviews all trade contractors’ means and methods in accordance with project contract documents with the Project Superintendent Reviews and analyzes submittal data on the product specifications, scopes of work, plans and engineer reports to determine the finished product meets the quality and reliability expectancy of the Client.
Maintains submittal logs onsite Assists the project management team with the RFI process to ensure that all RFIs are properly and timely logged and that the information requests are reviewed and then forwarded to the appropriate people Ensures testing programs will be conducted throughout construction to verify that all materials and installations are as specified;
in addition to mandatory "milestone" inspections or tests, the QC shall monitor all aspects of the construction on a daily basis to verify contract compliance Plans, coordinates, and directs the quality control program as designed, to ensure continuous production of projects are consistent with established standards by performing the QCM duties personally or through subordinate supervisors Performs random project site audits for all stages in production process and inspects materials for specifications and contract compliance Interacts effectively with the USACE Quality Control personnel to ensure QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's degree (B.
A.) from an accredited four-year college or university, as it relates to construction (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE, etc.) or equivalent is desired;
and 5-10 years field experience in the roll of Quality Control Manager or Alternate; or 10-15 years of acceptable construction related experience Experience with multi-year government IDIQ contracts such as JOC / SABER / MATOC is highly desirable USACE Quality Control Certification is required and experience with RMS 3.
0 is preferred CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Completion of OSHA 30 Hour Safety Course; current certifications for First Aid and CPR;
