Traveling Maintenance Trainer

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Traveling Maintenance Trainer.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities :

• Deliver classroom training materials in a professional manner
• Facilitate all individual and group training sessions
• Conduct pre- and post-training session analysis to determine overall effectiveness of session
• Track, assess, evaluate and measures effectiveness of all training delivered
• Monitor team feedback to ensure incorporation of feedback into training programs to maximize ROI

Nature and Scope :

• Demonstrate skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing / incomplete information and inconsistencies / anomalies in more complex research / data
• Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues
• Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and / or direct customers of the process
• Comfortable working with MS Outlook, MS Excel PowerPoint, and other common business applications

Work Environment :

• Typically located in a comfortable indoor area
• There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors, such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about
• On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles
• Requires frequent overnight travel

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in a multi-family property maintenance position
• Competencies must include hands on experience with kitchen appliances, HVAC, electrical, and other components commonly found in multi-family properties
• Experience presenting in a classroom setting (classrooms in this will be as small as 10 techs and as large as 200 techs)
• Bilingual (Spanish)

• CPO Certification
• HVAC Certification
