Job Duties : Supervise a caseload of offenders and who are placed under court supervision. Interview clients and compile information for reports and testimony for the court regarding disposition / sentencing.
Maintain timely and accurate chronological records on each client. Identify client needs and make appropriate community referrals when warranted.
Required Education and Experience : Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in psychology, sociology, social work, criminal justice, or other human services related field.
Preferred qualifications : Proven verbal and written communication skills. A minimum of one year experience in one or more of the following within the past five years :
- Conducting interviews
- Writing formal reports
- Working with juveniles and / or families
- Working with clients with substance abuse and / or mental health issues
