Senior Corporate Credit Research Director
New York, Chicago, Austin, or San Francisco
Our client is seeking a Senior Director to join its U.S. Corporate Credit team, focusing on at least one corporate credit sub-sector.
You will be evaluating corporate debt issuers and contributing to research that shapes debt capital market decisions, and being a visible representative of the business.
This is a senior analytical position, facing off to CFOs and Heads of Treasury at large Investment Grade companies within this sector.
Should you be interested in talking at key industry conferences and related opportunities to be visible within the industry, this will absolutely be possible.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a portfolio of circa 20 corporate debt issuers (primarily investment-grade, and some speculative-grade)
- Present credit views and sector insights through meetings, calls, industry events, and written research
- Serve as a key contact for stakeholders, including industry executives, analysts, and the media
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
Ideal Candidate :
- A very minimum of 10+ years (ideally more) of corporate credit research, debt capital markets or corporate credit analysis experience
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with experience in investment-grade analysis preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, advanced degrees, or CFA a plus, but not essential
