The Senior Analyst, Technical Documentation for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for taking a leading role supporting the Technical Publications team with its project deliverables and processes.

As a member of project teams, you use your advanced skills in technical writing for creating high quality content (text and media) for existing product lines and new product development.

This HYBRID position is located in Chaska, MN, and is a part of the Global Product Technical Support team. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Global Technical Publications team and report to the Staff Technical Documentation responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation deliverables.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

• Use your technical writing expertise to work with subject matter experts and ensure high-quality, accurate service documentation
• Communicate project status and issues to Project and Core Teams, Project Management, Technical Writers, Coordinators, and Management
• Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge through training and professional development to support Technical Publications activities and business objectives

The essential requirements of the job include :

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or related field and prefer at least 5 years of Technical Writing experience
• Excellent writing skills; ensures quality and technical accuracy of content in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ability to take ownership of projects, guide and mentor team members, and effectively collaborate with SMEs and project leads
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Participation in continuous improvement and process improvement efforts

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :

• Documentation of complex hardware or software environments
• Topic-based authoring, XML or similar structured authoring environment, or enterprise content management systems
• Photography, graphic design, or multimedia creation
