Reporting to the President of Demand and Operations, our Vice President (Senior Director) Performance Marketing will oversee our performance marketing teams' strategy, development, and operations, including SEM, SEO, and programmatic advertising campaigns.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of data-driven and cost-efficient strategies to drive paid and organic user growth across various channels, including paid search, search engine optimization, and programmatic advertising.
  • Optimize all facets of performance marketing, including bid strategy, landing page, ad creative and rotation, and audiences.
  • Translate strategies into detailed budget and channel plans, working closely with Finance to update forecasts and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly actuals.
  • Drive efficiency and performance through the use of data science and automation.
  • Partner with our Product team to optimize customer journey through rigorous testing and experimentation.
  • Partner with the Finance, Data Science, and Analytics teams to develop a measurement stack to monitor and improve channel performance, enhance KPI tracking, conduct quantitative analyses to inform growth strategy, ensure accurate and timely reporting of campaign results, build a testing framework, evolve marketing attribution and incrementality, and measure customer LTV.
  • Lead, develop, and manage a growing team of performance marketers to effectively and efficiently deliver results based on clear goals.
  • Oversee relationships with vendors, partners, platform account managers, and other partners to test new service offerings, channels, and capabilities.

What You Have

  • 8+ years of paid marketing experience managing complex campaigns, multi-million dollar budgets, and being accountable for a marketing channel P&L.
  • 6+ years of management experience, with a track record of helping team members grow in their roles.
  • 3+ years of paid search management (ideally have managed SEM less than 2 years ago).
  • Ability to recruit, grow, and develop excellent marketing talent.
  • Exceptional analytical skills-ability to structure and parse qualitative and quantitative data, formulate and test hypotheses, synthesize findings, and draw insights and conclusions that you can translate into actionable recommendations.
  • A strong problem-solving track record : ability to think through unique problems with no set guide and design and execute a path to a solution.

You can transition effortlessly between big-picture strategy and tactical problem solving.

Entrepreneurial-an ownership mentality and a bias towards action; you can build something out of nothing and have the ability to start projects with minimal oversight.

Perks

  • Equity stake.
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely.
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid family leave.
  • 401(k) matching program.
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance.
  • Up to $25k towards family building services.
  • $500 per year for wellness expenses.
  • Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical.
  • $120 per month to spend on tickets to live events.
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music.

The salary range for this role is $240,000 - $300,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
