Your Impact in This Role
- Monitor and analyze relevant regulations, including OSHA, RCRA, Homeland Security, Federal & Ohio EPA, DEA, and DHS, ensuring the company remains compliant with all standards
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies for programs such as TSCA, Toxic Release Inventory, SARA Title III, air emissions, and stormwater reporting
- Maintain all required documentation and training materials related to regulatory compliance, keeping teams informed and prepared
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategic plans to mitigate these risks
- Act as the key liaison between the company and regulatory agencies, ensuring clear communication and swift resolution of any compliance-related issues
What You Bring to The Table
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Regulatory Affairs)
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, RCRA, Homeland Security, EPA Risk Management Plan, and other applicable regulations
- 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Certification in OSHA Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Operations Level or above is preferred
