This is a role well suited to an ambitiousprofessional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Manager, UrinalysisReagents Manufacturing , you will beresponsible for :

• Driving a 24 / 5 production department with directreports who are salaried supervisors across each shift.
• Driving the overall success of the business throughdevelopment and implementation of a strategic plan for the Urinalysis department.
• Acting with a strong sense of urgency, drivingaccountability across all levels of the organization.
• Managing and developing all the respective workflowprocesses to ensure all production targets (Quality, Quantity, and Delivery On-Time)are achieved.
• Understanding and complying with all aspects of thecollective bargaining agreement.
• Overseeing assigned technologically demanding andcomplex processes in an automated production environment, which do need aspecialized, experienced, and well vocationally trained work force.
• Ensuring optimum machine utilization across multipleshifts.
• Production scheduling and planning material needsbased on production requirements.
• Practical experience in methods such as : StructuredProblem Solving, Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping, Agile Visual Management,Healthy Dialogue Methods, and GROWs Coaching.
• Execute with discipline and continuously improvedaily, weekly, and monthly standard work.
• Partnering with cross functional support teams i.e.,Safety, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, etc. to executedepartment goals and maintain compliance.

• You have excellent PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
• You are willing and capable of learning about new software and hardware solutions.
• You are a confident and effective communicator withstrong interpersonal and team management skills, driven to achieve goals andexceed expectations.
• You understand the demands of a manufacturingenvironment and its needed support.
• You are familiar with an inventory management systemsuch as SAP.
• Team player with proven ability in leadership andproblem solving.
• You are customer focused.

Required skills to have for thesuccess of this role include :

• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in amanufacturing environment required.
• Experience as a leader of leaders preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionpreferred.
• Lean or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
• Experience working in an ISO and / or FDA regulatedenvironment a plus.
