Job Duties : This is a highly responsible supervisory, administrative, and participatory position as Clerk of the District Court.

Work involves the overall management of the civil, criminal, limited civil, small claims, probate, juvenile, adoption, traffic, and care and treatment functions of the Unified District Court.

Work involves the coordination of the various activities and subordinate personnel to ensure the case processing systems and procedures are efficient, effective, and compatible throughout the Court, and the development and maintenance of systems and procedures and organizational efforts required to process and monitor caseload activities.

Requires complete knowledge of all computer programs, including accounting, docketing, traffic, budget, and judge’s docket to be effective.

Education and experience : The ideal candidate will possess the skills of time management, written communication, and professional maturity.

Graduation from high school or equivalent and three years of clerical and administrative experience, including at least one year of court or other related legal experience, and knowledge of modern office practices and computer programs.
