Are you passionate about quality and safety in the food manufacturing industry? Do you have a knack for ensuring that every product that leaves the manufacturing line is up to the highest standards?

If so, we are looking for a Food Safety and Quality Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is a critical part of our commitment to producing high-quality products that our customers trust and love.

Responsibilities :

As a Food Safety and Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for :

1. Overseeing and ensuring the implementation of our Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) programs.

2. Conducting regular verifications and inspections of our manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and identifying areas for improvement.

3. Taking charge in swabbing and other microbiological testing activities to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of our production areas.

4. Handling non-conformance issues, including investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.

5. Reviewing and approving product labels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

6. Training and guiding team members on food safety and quality practices, ensuring they are well-equipped to maintain our high standards.

7. Collaborating with other departments to drive continuous improvement in our food safety and quality systems.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.

2. Extensive knowledge of FSQA, GMP, swabbing, non-conformance handling, verifications, and labeling.

3. A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.

4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey food safety and quality standards to the team.

7. Proficiency in using various software systems for data management and reporting.

8. A certification in food safety such as HACCP, SQF, or BRC would be an advantage.
