Position Title : Communications and Document Specialist

Location : South San Francisco, CA 94080 (Onsite)

Duration : 4 Weeks

Job Type : Full Time / W2

Pay Range : $45 / hr on W2

Overview :

We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a Content Update Specialist. This role involves synthesizing content, updating policy guidelines, and enhancing internal sites.

The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking, skilled at drawing connections, and focused on clarity and consistency in messaging.

This position requires attendance at a weekly on-campus meeting (preferably on Wednesdays) and involves a commitment of up to 40 hours per week for 4 weeks.

Please note that travel expense reimbursement is not included in this assignment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review foundational documents to identify necessary updates, exclusions, and deletions of related content.
• Conduct thorough analysis of documents and sites to address inconsistencies and necessary updates, ensuring key messages are preserved and easily understood.
• Collaborate with process partners to clarify and enhance understanding of integrated touchpoints and handoffs, ensuring concise messaging.
• Edit and update all related documents and internal sites with a focus on good grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Consult with the Senior People Experience Partner to gather information and clarify content.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed :

• Prior experience as a content writer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
• Experience with WordPress.
