Job Summary

This role is responsible for the quality assurance and inspection of various products for medical and surgical applications.

Duties include in process visual and dimension inspection, final inspection of product, control and reporting of non-conforming product, general quality activities as needed.

2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 30 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships across restor3d.
  • Understand the objectives, responsibilities, and mission of the Quality department and work towards those goals.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities; adapt for changing conditions.
  • Perform Product Inspection (dimensional, visual, testing)
  • Calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, micrometers, height gauges, profilometer, label inspections, etc.
  • Read and interpret specifications and engineering blueprints
  • Maintain full traceability of product, parts and in process items using proper line clearance techniques and good documentation practices
  • Ability to accurately document process steps in accordance with quality system regulations following good documentation practices
  • Prepare reports for non-conforming product with the assistance of the Quality Engineering team
  • Collaborate with production team and product development to determine final disposition of non-conforming product
  • Review fulfillment packing slips and packaged product for accuracy of quantity, lot assignment, correct parts, etc.
  • Assist in Shipping, Receiving and Fulfillment, as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED is required, Associate’s Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience with inspection equipment
  • Minimum of 3 years in an industry requiring high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work.

  • General computer skills and experience with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro
  • Needs to be able to move / edit / save / copy documents, including using tracked changes in MS Word and creating pdf using Adobe Pro
  • Needs to be able to navigate the document folders on a computer
  • Ability to follow documentation steps and properly complete data fields
  • Limited physical requirements other than the ability to place small materials, tools, or
  • Position may involve handling of or exposure to metallic powders, mill coolant, tapping fluid, and polymeric resins.
