Primary Responsibilities :
- Lead and Expand : Lead and oversee the clinic, sleep lab, educational programs and research activities of the Sleep Wake Center.
- Multi-Disciplinary Development : Build and maintain a robust academic sleep medicine program, working collaboratively with clinical and academic partners within the division, along with across departments and disciplines.
- Teaching and Mentoring : provide teaching opportunities and mentorship for medical students, residents and fellows, fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Research Initiatives : Engage in innovative research in collaboration with faculty and established programs across the university.
- Academic Engagement : Participate in all academic activities of the Pulmonary Division and the Sleep Center to advance clinical, research and educational initiatives.
- Sleep Fellowship : Maintain and oversee a fellowship program, provide teaching opportunities with multiple faculty members, encourage and develop environments conducive to learning and growth.
Requirements :
- MD or DO with board certification in Sleep Medicine.
- Extensive experience in sleep medicine, with a parent specialty in Pulmonary Medicine, Neurology or Psychiatry.
- Strong commitment to research and education with outstanding leadership ability.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, research and education.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Utah.
