Outside Sales Representative / Hunter

Job Summary : We are seeking a dynamic and driven Outside Sales / Hunter to join our team. This role focuses on aggressively expanding our business by identifying and capturing new opportunities in a defined territory.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about sales, and has a proven track record of closing deals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prospect and Identify Opportunities : Aggressively identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Relationship Building : Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and pain points.
  • Sales Strategy : Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to customer segments.
  • Proposal Development : Create and present compelling, customer-centric proposals that demonstrate the value of our services.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the operations team to leverage their expertise and ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Achieve Targets : Meet or exceed specific activity benchmarks and sales targets.
  • Market Intelligence : Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience : Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in a hunter role with a focus on new business development.
  • Skills :
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using CRM or SFA tools.
  • Attributes :
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results oriented.
  • Resilient and persistent in pursuing opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in the service industry, particularly with commercial contract sales.
  • Local market knowledge and established contacts within relevant segments.
  • Experience managing large territories and complex sales cycles.
