Senior Game Mathematician/Designer
About the Role
The Senior Game Math Designer will create the math models and algorithms that shape the gameplay. We need a talented and creative expert to join our game development team, designing complex game systems and balancing mechanics for various games.
Casino and gaming experience is a firm requirement.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine mathematical models for game mechanics, such as probability, risk, and economy systems.
- Work with game designers and developers to integrate math models that improve gameplay and player engagement.
- Analyze player behavior statistically and adjust game mechanics for better player satisfaction.
- Develop and implement simulation tools to test and refine game models.
- Mentor junior game math designers, promoting collaboration and sharing advanced techniques and best practices.
- Keep up with the latest trends in gaming math and suggest innovative improvements for game designs.
- Participate in design reviews, offering feedback to ensure game balance and fairness.
- Document mathematical models and algorithms clearly for the game development team.

Requirements
- Proficient in programming languages like C++, Python, or similar, with a strong grasp of algorithmic design.
- Experience with statistical tools and software, such as R or MATLAB, for data analysis and model building.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think both analytically and creatively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Passion for games and a deep understanding of game mechanics and player psychology.
