What you will do As the School-Linked Programs Coordinator, you are responsible for program development and implementation, evaluating implementation and effectiveness, as well as making recommendations and initiating strategies regarding the long-term investment and financial stability of the school health and school-linked service programs.

This position tracks, identifies, and analyzes health systems priorities that may impact aforementioned programming. This position will : Develop program goals and criteria for ongoing grant funding in alignment with legislative intent;

develop criteria for planning grants and ongoing operations. Develop training and technical assistance strategies for school health service programs and SBHCs in partnership ASH staff.

Coordinate ongoing grant support for school health service programs. Coordinate evaluation of ASH school health service programs, including their services and systems through operational research.

Work with program team to establish criteria to identify and measure program effectiveness. Based on research and evaluation findings, develop long-range plans, goals, and objectives for ASH school health service programs.

Lead or participates in policy development teams at state and local levels related to legislative rules and regulations of around health systems updates that may impact school health service program operations and best practices guidelines.

This position works with a wide array of internal (Health Systems Division, Health Policy and Analytics, and Behavioral Health) and external partners (Oregon Department of Education, Oregon Department of Human Services, school districts, education service districts, Conference of School Administrators, and others) to promote adolescent health and school health and school-linked programming.

Example : A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills;

and four years experience coordinating or administering a program. Desired Attributes Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve.

Experience developing, implementing and managing long-term projects with a systems approach that includes working with multiple partners, setting goals and priorities, and promoting collaborative decision-making.

Experience working with schools, school districts, community-based organizations, and / or local public health authorities and establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships.

Experience working with Oregon healthcare and public health care systems. Experience supporting youth-centered programming with a focus on health and / or public health.

Experience developing and implementing racial equity strategies to address health disparities. Experience in planning for and implementing technical assistance.

Experience with project and program evaluation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, virtual meeting software (MS Teams, Zoom, GoToWebinar), and electronic information systems.
