Summary :
The Gate Worker fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by providing excellent customer service, monitoring entry and exit points, managing ticket sales, and maintaining orderliness among spectators.
Position Responsibilities :
- Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
- Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Supports and adheres to the Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees and policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese
- Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters
- Monitor entry and exit of spectators
- Ticket validation, processes and sells entry tickets
- Assists guests with questions and navigating property
- Ensure that ticketing equipment and supplies are maintained and operational
- Notifies higher level management of any suspicious or unusual activity and / or transactions in a timely manner
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications :
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
License and Credentials
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver license
- Valid vehicle insurance
Minimum Knowledge and Skills :
- Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team;
- Must have good written and verbal skills;
- Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
