Job Description :
To provide assistance in the performance of tissue examination through advanced technical knowledge in gross room, micro-dissection lab and autopsy.
To act as the department liaison with nursing units, families, physicians and outside clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and / or experience.
Currently credentialed with Pathologists' Assistant (PA) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) preferred.
Embalmer's license desirable.
