Hourly Rate / Salary Range :
Start Date : Approximate start date 9 / 4 / 2024
Work Week : 5.25 hour position plus 30 minute lunch. Monday - Friday 8 : 30 AM - 2 : 15 PM
Position is 3 hours Behavior Technician,ADSIS, and 2.25 hours lunchroom / playground supervision.
Student Level : Elementary
Positions Summary :
Behavior Technician : Supports building behavior concerns with specific interventions. Performs intermediate human support work assisting classroom teachers by working with students individually or in small groups, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Building Principal and School Psychologist
Lunchroom / Playground Supervisor : Monitors and supports students in the cafeteria and on the playground. Assists in the cafeteria to support student success and implementation of lunch schedule.
Education and / or Experience :
High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with children
Associates / Technical degree preferred.
Special Requirements :
- Moderate experience working with children.
- Must hold AA / AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio or pass MN Parapro test.
- Training in Blood Borne Pathogens upon hire.
- Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention within 6-12 months upon hire as needed for program.
- Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota.
