Evening Line Cook

Spectrum Entertainment Complex and Woody's Press box is West Michigan's Premier Family Entertainment Facility! We are a large facility offering bowling, full menu restaurant and bar service, banquets, parties, golf simulators, private groups and events.

We are located in Wyoming, Michigan at 5656 Clyde Park Ave SW next door to Meijer and Craig's Cruisers.

Currently seeking Line Cooks to join our awesome team!

Pay starts at $17+ per hour depending on experience and availability.

Health Insurance available after 90 days for full-time employees.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be responsible for preparing food in a busy environment while adhering to company preparation procedures, plate appearance, and quality.

You may also be called upon to assist with food preparation for group events, parties, and banquets. You will be the working during the evening hours of operation and rotate closings with other staff members.

As a Night Line Cook, your general responsibilities will include :

• Prepare food according to methods and quantities prescribed by Restaurant Manager.
• Serve portions as prescribed by menu instructions.
• Keep station clean.
• Put food away in clean containers at close of day.
• Maintain refrigerator in an orderly manner.
• Receive food in Restaurant Manager's absence.
• Maintain hygienic working conditions.
• Adhere to State Board of Health regulations.
• Advise manager when inventory levels fall below standard.
• Check with Manager at start of shift for special instructions.
• Operate dish washing machine and perform dishwashers duties when one is not scheduled.
• Assist Restaurant Manager with other duties which may be necessary from time to time.
• Perform other tasks as required by the Restaurant Manager.
• Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Exhibit initiative in completing tasks and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate maturity, dependability, accountability, and professionalism with fellow staff members, management, and towards the obligations you signed up for by accepting the position.
