Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a Domestic Finance Manager. Responsibilities :

  • Manage the financial aspects of grant applications, including budget development, financial reporting, and expenditure tracking
  • Monitor grant budgets and expenditures to ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with program managers and project teams to develop accurate financial forecasts and projections for grant-funded activities
  • Ensure compliance with grant agreements, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to grantors and funding agencies in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate with internal audit and compliance teams to conduct periodic reviews and audits of grant-related financial processes
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial plans, incorporating grant funding projections and allocations
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making related to grant opportunities and resource allocation
  • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to integrate grant-related financial data into overall financial reporting and planning processes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries from grantors, donors, and funding agencies
  • Communicate effectively with program managers, project leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners and funding agencies to facilitate ongoing collaboration and support

Requirements

  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients
  • Donor Reporting experience
  • Strong communication skills to interact with senior program leadership
  • Experience with different types of billing
  • Have worked with organizations implementing grants and contracts
  • Knowledge of 2CFR200
  • Able to handle volume in terms of expense reports and transactions
  • Experience preparing donor Financial Reports (SF-425 and other)
  • Experience with Billing donors based on T&M grants and fixed price contracts
  • Oracle experience is preferred not required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.

This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note : Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
