JOB SUMMARY

Performs administrative and business support related duties of a complex nature in support of an area with minimal guidance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills

  • Ability to independently identify impediments, problem-solve and develop effective solutions
  • Possess exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to track the workflow of numerous projects and prioritize responsibilities
  • High-level of competence with computers is essential with high proficiency in Microsoft Word & Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel, as well as virtual meeting platforms (such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom).
  • Possess strong budgetary and financial skills
  • Willingly accepts responsibility and performs expected and unexpected tasks. Willingly exerts extra effort when necessary to get the job done.
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism. Demonstrates a positive attitude in response to suggestions for improvement.
  • Performs a variety of administrative support which may include, but not limited to scheduling meetings, booking travel, preparing itineraries, budget reconciliation, and support of senior faculty
  • Ensures data / records are created and maintained to document financial, planning, correspondence, procedures, processes and other information.
  • Prepares reports and other documentation as requested.
  • Basic event planning skills with interest in growing these capabilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) (Required)
  • 4 years relevant experience (Required)
