Cosmic Pet, LLC has an immediate need for a qualified Forklift Operator at our Warehouse in Wichita, KS. You will join a fast paced, team-oriented group focused on order fulfillment and safety.
The primary responsibilities of a Forklift Operator are unloading and loading trailers, moving and locating products to pallets and then to locations safely and efficiently.
Operators will pick customer orders using the forklift and other material handling equipment, as well as receive product using RF devices.
Forklift operator will conduct daily inspections of the equipment and report any discrepancies as necessary. Forklift Operators will report any maintenance issues to higher management and practice good judgement during operation.
Forklift Operator Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of forklift throughout the warehouse at all times
- Complete daily inspections of the forklifts
- Load completed customer orders into trucks for delivery
- Unloading product to pallets for put away
- Putting received product away into racks safely and efficiently using RF devices
- Operation of material handling equipment throughout the warehouse
- Comply with company policies and guidelines of safe operation of Forklifts
Forklift Operator Skills
- 1-year minimum experience as a Forklift Operator
- Knowledge of RF devices
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills needed
- Attention to detail of product being picked and put away
- Extended knowledge of forklift equipment
Compensation and Benefits :
- Salary will be based on experience and skill set

1 shift hours : 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm Monday thru Friday
2nd shift hours 4 : 00 pm - 12 : 30 am Monday thru Friday
