The Caregiver role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, dressing, incontinence care, cooking, meal preparation and assistance with errands and appointments.

Our caregivers work one on one with elderly or disabled individuals in a facility or home care setting.

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits :

$17.00 - $18.50 an hour - Full-time / Part-time

Responsibilities

Help clients take prescribed medication

Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

Do the client’s shopping / errand or accompany them if needed

Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals

Collect and document information about conditions and treatment plans as needed

Report any unusual incidents or changes in condition in a timely manner

Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Qualifications :

Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required

Current First Aid / CPR Certification

Current negative TB test or chest x-ray

Drivers license, car insurance, and access to reliable transportation

Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking

Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills

Physical endurance to complete required tasks

High school diploma or equivalent

Must pass background & motor vehicle record check
