FOSTER YOUTH PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Requirements / Qualifications

Education : A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing Experience : Two years of general case management experience working with at-promise students in providing support and resources in a variety of services such as education, college and vocational training, medical and health, and legal services.

Additional Requirements : Positions in this class may be required to work outside of regular working hours and may be assigned to various sites throughout Los Angeles County as needed by the job.

A valid California driver's license and availability of private transportation or ability to provide transportation between job sites is required.

To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE may require employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
