We have a contract opportunity for an Instrument Repair Technician in Salt Lake City Utah. This position has the potential to be hired directly by the client.
The customer is a world leading manufacturer of Medical Biotech Diagnostic Devices.
Pay Rate : $20.00 to $25.00 / Hr.
Job Summary :
Work with cutting-edge medical device and help save lives! You will assess devices for problems or damage and implement solutions to ensure peak functionality.
You will troubleshoot and provide technical support with a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical operations.
As an Instrument Repair Technician, you will need dexterity, creative troubleshooting skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and of course initiative with independent tasks.
Training and Education :
- High School Diploma or GED with related on-the-job technical training and / or certifications.
- Associate’s degree is strongly preferred.
Experience :
2+ years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing in a related field such as electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, computer, & automotive.
Trainee Level :
High School Diploma or GED and we will provide you with training to become a repair technician.
Skills and Abilities :
- Ability to use specialized equipment, read instructions, maintain written records, and work from established drawings.
- Experience with soldering and testing equipment usage a plus.
- Ability to lift-up to 50 lbs
