Position Summary

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be assigned to a region of the United States. It will be your responsibility to handle all shipments inbound and outbound, Pick, pack, and purchase parts as necessary for your region’s requirements, while ensuring customer deadlines are met.

You may also be tasked with various Inventory / Warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Logistics Coordinator responsibilities include :

  • Pick, Pack, Ship Inventory
  • Receive, Return, and Stock Inventory
  • Prepare packing slips, BOL’s, and all other shipping documents
  • Track incoming and outgoing freight
  • Maintain Accurate delivery dates in the system
  • Work with third party warehouses to stage and ship customers’ orders
  • Proactively communicate schedule changes with Account Management department
  • Identify and analyze opportunities for cost and performance improvements
  • Assess, solve, or escalate problems as appropriate
  • Initiate purchase orders and receiving documents for proper inventory and purchasing controls
  • Inventory Cycle Counts
  • Monitoring email and phone communication from DC Group vendors, Account Managers, and Field technicians, providing prompt responses and solutions
  • Able to work 9 : 30am to 6pm Monday through Friday

Previous industry experience is not required
