As aLevel II Maintenance Technician you will support our manufacturingoperations by providing a full range of multicraft equipmentmaintenance with focus on reliability andmaintainability.
Shift : 3rd Shift 11pm thru7am
Thisis an hourly position withovertime
Troubleshootequipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies.
Install andperform alignment on mechanical drivesystems.
Completeall assigned preventive tasks including major service andoverhaul.
Replacementof identified failed parts or components.
Adjustequipment to bring it into operational specifications.
Maintainmachinery lubrication requirements.
Recommendprocess or procedure changes based on observed equipment behavior.
Testing ofelectrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiringusing testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensureproper operation and safety of system.
Installexamine replace or repair electrical wiring receptacles switchboxes conduits lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
Maintaincurrent and accurate maintenance data to determine establishhistorical records and future maintenance requirements.
Train andmentor junior technicians and operators on proper equipment serviceandcondition.
Maintainan attitude of learning to stay current with maintenance proceduresand equipment.
Complete anannual Maintenance Skills Assessment and perform assigned trainingactivities based on assessmentresults.
Requirements
- Highschool graduate orequivalent.
- StrongMechanical and Electricalbackground.
- Possessesstrong computer skills (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook CMMSetc.).
- Abilityto interpret technical drawings schematics and OEM manuals.
- Understandingof manufacturing processes and manufacturing equipment.
- Mustbe familiar with normal shop equipment such as drill press band sawand portable power tools.
- Abilityto read and interpret precision measuring devices.
- Abilityto mentor and train other technicians on the maintenanceteam.
- Mustbe capable of handling multiple taskssimultaneously.
- Successfulcompletion of certification testing.
- 2yearTechnical Degreedesired.
- Minimumof 5 years of industrial manufacturing or comparable skillsdemonstrationrequired.
