Our client, a leading manufacturer in the metalworking industry, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Machining Team.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : CNC Machinist

Location : Clackamas, OR

Schedule : Second Shift : Monday-Friday 2 : 30pm-11pm

Pay Range : $22 to $28 per hour DOE

What’s the Job?

• Setup and perform machining operations on various metals, castings, forgings, and fabrications.
• Operate one or more major machines and one or more minor machines.
• Use a computer system to clock in and out of daily work and follow shop orders or Non-Conformity Tickets.
• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
• Use measuring tools to control machining operations and verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications.

What’s Needed?

• Experience with setup and operation of CNC machinery.
• Proficiency with measuring tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, scales, tape measures, and calipers.
• Ability to calculate and set controls for machining factors or enter commands for computerized machine control media.
• Knowledge of basic machine maintenance, including checking and maintaining oils and fluids.
• Capability to operate a forklift and other lifting devices.
