We are currently seeking candidates in the local Phoenix area for the role of Plant Safety and Environmental Manager. A Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field is required for this position.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least three years of diverse experience in managing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) functions at a plant level within a manufacturing setting.
This position is a stand-alone EHS Manager role, without any direct reports. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading EHS efforts at a non-union manufacturing facility with employees.
The main responsibilities include providing leadership and implementing best practices in EHS for the plant. The role also involves managing health and safety processes, developing safety systems and programs, conducting audits, providing training, investigating accidents, handling workers compensation, and ensuring environmental compliance.
