Job Title : Line Cook

Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of various ingredients, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the kitchen.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
Preparation of Hot Dishes :
- Execute the preparation of appetizers, entrees, and other hot dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards for back of house.
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and meet quality standards.
Station Setup and Organization :
- Set up and organize the hot station with all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency.
Kitchen Organization :
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Properly label and store all prepared ingredients.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and adhere to sanitation guidelines.
Collaboration :
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination.
- Assist other kitchen staff as needed during peak hours.
Quality Control :
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in food preparation.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency.
Adherence to Safety Standards :
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Education and Certification :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Culinary school training or relevant certification is a plus.
- 2+ years experience
